Dr. Wolf was fantastic with my daughter. She was a bit shy and didn’t offer up much info. He was welcoming, stopped to explain every step of the process to her, asked her if it was ok to perform each part of the exam. Took a minute to explain her results in detail to her. She left feeling really excited for her new glasses.
Rebecca…the owner/optician sat my daughter down and asked her a few questions about her style and comfortability she was looking for in frames then brought her everything she had that fit that bill plus took the time to show her every other pair that came in a similar option but she didn’t have on hand. She walked us through our insurance and explained the differences in the coverages and why she would and would not recommend specific things. She even explained to my daughter how she would know she was ready for contacts.
They had a significant number of affordable frames available too.

Here are answers to a few of the most frequently asked questions regarding our practice.

We are located right in the center of downtown Palmer, MA. Our address is: 1148 North Main St, Palmer, MA 01069
In accordance with local, state and federal regulations Quabbin Valley Eye Care is required to adhere to all current protocols for medical facilities in regards to the wearing of face masks while in our facility. In order to keep our staff and our patients safe we ask that patients follow the office guidelines below:
- Appointments are required for all exam related visits to the office, walk-ins are not accepted for eye examination or contact lens related visits (Note: Walk-Ins are welcome for Optical Shop services like new purchases, repairs, adjustments, etc. Appointments are required for pick-up of new eyewear).
- Face masks are required for all visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Due to the close proximity in which we work with our patients, and that we are a medical facility, face masks are required to be worn in our facility at all times.
- Handwashing and/or hand sanitization is requested upon entry and required before handling frames in the optical dispensary.
The staff at QVEC sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding in regards to following the guidelines that are required at our facility.
